Shari Broomfield
Lead Family Coach
Shari is enthusiastic and committed to helping families secure safe and stable housing. She has a heart for service and more than 10 years of experience helping individuals and families build stable, successful lives. Her background includes workforce development, housing counseling, financial coaching, and real estate. Whether guiding someone through housing decisions, budgeting, or life transitions, she focuses on building trust and believes every family has the ability to succeed with the right support, encouragement, and tools.
Shari’s work is driven by a genuine desire to see families grow, thrive, and create long-term stability for themselves and future generations. She serves as the Lead Family Coach for our Eviction Prevention and Shelter Diversion programs, working to prevent and end family homelessness.

Kimberly Jackson
Family Coach
Kim is passionate about helping families overcome challenges and build stronger foundations for stability and growth. With over 10 years of experience in community programs, case management, program coordination, and community outreach, she has supported families and individuals through transitions with care, empathy, and a focus on connecting them to the resources they need most.
She was drawn to the Family Coach position because of her genuine desire to make a difference in the lives of families facing instability or hardship. Family Promise’s mission to help families achieve sustainable independence deeply aligns with her values of compassion, dignity, and empowerment. Kim supports families in our long-term Stabilization Program as they work toward lasting independence.

Amanda Crooks
Director of Programs
Amanda joined Family Promise of Aiken County in June 2025. In this role, Amanda leads the strategic development, management, and evaluation of programs to ensure alignment with organizational goals and best practices. Amanda oversees daily program operations, collaborates with the Family Coach on client services, supports complex cases, and ensures accurate documentation and reporting. She also works closely with the Board on strategic initiatives, reporting, and compliance; assists with fundraising, grant support, and donor relations; and engages with community partners to strengthen visibility and impact.
Amanda brings over 20 years of experience in client services, counseling, coaching, program management, and career development. Amanda holds national and international credentials as a Board-Certified Coach, Certified Master of Career Services, and Global Career Development Facilitator. Amanda is passionate about inspiring and equipping individuals to rise above their challenges and live into their full potential. She’s excited about strengthening the programs of Family Promise of Aiken County to empower families with children on a path of transformation that breaks the cycle of housing insecurity.
